JJ and Jo really go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and all set between your travels. They go above and beyond any other B&B and they serve a delicious breakfast every morning as well! The rooms are super cute, comfortable and best of all super clean! Great views as well! You will be happy you stayed at Tree Tops, I promise!

Tips:

Tree Tops in Fort William is a good travel point to head up to Skye, Glencoe, and Inverness. We loved that there was a M&S near by to keep food cost low and water for trips and such. There is plenty of nearby restaurants & pups that are family friendly and open until 10pm if you have to eat dinner late. There is also a ton to explore around Fort William too.

A very nice B&B with an awesome view over the valley. Big, clean rooms which are perfect for a stay. The staff is really really nice and has a good humor. Sadly i was just one night there and when i come around again I will definitly stay there again. One (if not the) best B&B I had during my trip to Scotland!

Take Jo & JJ’s advice and you won’t go wrong. They know the best places to see. This year we particularly enjoyed the walk to Steall Falls and quad biking on the Ardverikie Estate and ate well at The Ben Nevis Inn and the local pub, The Lochy.

Our party of 4 really enjoyed JJ and Jo as our Treetops hosts. They were friendly and helpful during our stop in Fort William offering advice on restaurants and attractions. The views from this b&b are spectacular- with Ben Nevis front and center. The rooms of modern decor were comfortable and clean.

Tips:

Restaurants: Ben Nevis Inn (at trailhead to this mountain) - not to be missed The Moorings - good food and only a short walk from the b&b Attractions: Neptunes Staircase right next to The Moorings Steam train (as seen in Harry Potter) to Mallaig -BOOK AT LEAST 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE Walk the canal trails Steal Falls trail Cameron Museum and nearby falls (bridge used in Rob Roy) Explore trails in Glen Nevis

This is an excellent b&B which I cannot recommend highly enough. The hosts are warm and friendly and provide an excellent cooked breakfast laced with a vast amount of knowledge about the area. This information is given freely and is a great help in ensuring you get the most out of your visit to the area.

Tips:

There is so much to do on Treetops door step that you will not be bored during your stay. Once again your hosts provide so much knowledge and opinion on local eateries that provided you are not too tired after your day out you are sure to find a good place to eat. Their knowledge even extends to good and bad items on menus which is a great help as well as telling you which pubs have live music.

We loved Treetops, we stayed in the Ben Nevis room with beautiful views across Fort William to the mountains. The room itself was lovely and clean, bed was very comfortable, great shower, everything you could need. The whole place is just lovely and breakfast was top notch too (great choices). The hosts, JJ and Jo were superb, so welcoming and friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They went above and beyond to make sure we knew where we were going, the best way to get there, the best place to park etc. It's a short drive into Fort William, totally worth it for the incredible views. We will definitely be back, we will plot all future Scotland trips so that we pass through!

Tips:

We went to Browns and the Ben Nevis Inn for food, both were very good (recommended by our hosts). We walked up Ben Nevis which was amazing (relentlessly steep but great!). And we went to Loch Arkaig to fish (permit/honesty box on the road out to the loch), canoe, and swim (briefly)

JJ and Jo are fantastic hosts and were very knowledgeable of both the local area and surrounding areas on places to visit and walks to consider. JJ met us on arrival and was very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed, and nothing was too much trouble. Jo made sure we had everything we needed st breakfast and was very happy to chat to us while JJ was busy in the kitchen creating fantastic breakfast options. A genuinely lovely couple who have chosen to share their beautiful home with people who are visiting Fort William and surrounding areas, a truly fantastic find.

Tips:

Whatever your plans are speak to JJ and Jo and they will be happy to confirm your plans, or give suggestions. With their expertise of the area they’re bound to be able to give advise on any of your already planned ideas and add a little extra to it, that you wouldn’ have thought about.

We arrived on Saturday and were met by Jo and given a really warm welcome. She showed us around and explained how everything worked. Both Jo and JJ are very warm and friendly hosts, they made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and home cooked by JJ. Both Jo and JJ took the time every morning at breakfast to ask all their guests how their previous day had gone and if they had enjoyed themselves. They asked everyone each morning what they had planned for the day and made suggestions about how to improve their plans to make the most of it. JJ even told you where to stand on the Jacobite (the Harry Potter train) to get the best pictures and views of the viaduct. Our room, the Great Glen, was absolutely lovely with stunning views of Ben Nevis. It was wonderful to sit at night on the balcony, watching the mist come down and the highland cows in the fields. Treetops is a beautiful B&B with stunning views, run by the best hosts you could wish for! We will certainly be going back!

A lovely place to stay on our last night in Fort William. After travelling around Scotland and camping for a week, this was exactly what we needed. The hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly (bringing tea and shortbread for us to enjoy on the veranda and a delicious breakfast the following morning). The only downside is that we booked for one night - 2 or more would have been perfect! We hope to go back for longer another time.

We had a wonderful stay at Treetops. Jo and JJ were such warm and welcoming hosts. the house is lovely. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and so great to have it made to order. The level of service and quality was better than a 4* hotel that we previously stayed at! We had a wonderful time and would both hope to return one day and recommend to all friends travelling to the area.

Tips:

Ben Nevis Inn was our favourite place to eat on our trip, simply stunning in the sunshine. We took the Jacobite to Mallaig and had a great lunch in the Tea Garden. (all restaurant recommendations from JJ were spot on!) Old Inverlochy Castle is great. A drive to Glencoe is certainly worthwhile.

The ensuite is large with 2 windows and a walk in shower. The breakfast is really good with loads of choice.

Treetops has to be the best B&B I have stayed at. It is exceptionally clean with great facilities. Together with this the location is very good and certainly from our room, excellent views across Fort William towards Ben Nevis. Our hosts were both friendly and helpfully. They clearly aim of maximising their guests enjoyment of the area by providing knowledge and helpful tips. A good selection is provided for breakfast with plenty of choice which should suit most guests and set them up for a day out with little need of much more food during the daytime. Overall an great experience and a place that I wouldn't hesitate in recommending to other travellers.

Lovely bright, clean space with wonderful views onto Nevis range. Large shower room and generally the sort of space that makes you "high five" to have found. Great hosts who really looked after their visitors, including cup of tea and shortbread on arrival.

Tips:

It is a nice walk to The Moorings for dinner, but if you are with a dog, you will be put in the most grotty bit of the pub, rather than the bright and airy restaurant. So, either take your car and leave dog in it or drive into Fort William for evening meal. However, we did walk by the Caledonian Canal early the following morning before breakfast and it was beautiful.

Treetops is a beautiful house, designed to take advantage of its location. Our king size room had a veranda, providing an outside sitting area where you can appreciate the great views of the mountains. The room and its en suite were very spacious, with high quality furniture and fittings. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection on the menu. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. I've given location a 4 rating as Treetops is a bit out of the town centre, near Neptunes Staircase, so you need a car to get in to town.

Tips:

We ate at the nearby Moorings restaurant and enjoyed our meal there. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the town centre. Our trip to the area was primarily to take the trip on the Jacobite steam train, which crosses the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct. Fort William is an ideal base for outdoor sports enthusiasts, and of course, you can always climb Ben Nevis!

Very friendly and welcoming! We originally had to book two different rooms, but JJ rearranged so that we did not have to move part way through our stay. We were travelling with our 5 month old son who was made to feel very welcome - Jo even took him for a cuddle so that we could enjoy our breakfast!

Tips:

JJ and Jo gave us recommendations for a meal out - the Ben Nevis Inn was great. Fantastic location and hearty meals in a converted barn. Both also advised on local sightseeing and our drive to Loch Ness.

Treetops is in a perfect location. It has views to die for in luxurious rooms. JJ, Joe and their wonderful team made us so welcome and treated us like friends from the moment we arrived. They were knowledgable about the area and gave us great advice on where to go and where to eat. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for our week in Scotland. Thanks for looking after us guys.

We tavelled to Glencoe and North to the Isle of Skye during our stay. Staying in a larger town was so useful for places to eat and drink.

Lovely couple that go the extra mile. Such a lovely home. Before we arrived we had an email with places to eat which was helpful. The check in times were sensible. When we arrived there was plenty of parking and we were offered tea on the veranda which was a nice touch. It's a bright and beautiful house and there was so many small thoughtful touches in the room. The room was beautiful and so clean. The breakfast was home cooked fabulous. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Treetops B&B and would whole-heartedly recommend it to those staying or passing through the Fort William area. We were in the Great Glen room, which was spacious and very comfortable. The weather was quite good when we visited so we had an unobstructed view of Ben Nevis from the room and attached balcony. We found the owner (JJ) to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. He gave us clear directions to find the B&B before our arrival, and once we were there he provided tips for nearby restaurants and sights, as well as ideas for places to see on our way to the Isle of Skye. He and the staff also make a fine breakfast. Very glad we stayed there!

Tips:

Be prepared for some solid hill climbing if you intend to walk around to the nearby sights (e.g., Neptune's staircase) and restaurants.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Treetops. The B&B is too a high standard and the view from the Nevis room was superb. In the morning a high quality breakfast was provided which was a great start to the morning. The hosts Jo and JJ are eager to help and provide information about the local area and also asked for feedback for improvements. We discussed about including some local movie highlights i.e. Highlander, Braveheart and Harry Potter and also some local tours for individuals who don't have the local knowledge of the area. Deffo return to the venue again in the future.

We stayed in the Ben Nevis room which has a lovely view of Ban Nevis from both windows. It was a good size room with an en-suite (shower) and was kept clean. The hosts were very welcoming and approachable and the breakfast was lovely (we thought it was great that we got to fill in an order form the night before so we knew exactly what we were getting and there was no waste).

Tips:

The B&B is a good base for people interested in walks around Fort William - Ben Nevis and the Caledonian Canal (Neptune’s Staircase) for example. We decided against Ben Nevis as the weather wasn't ideal, but it was easy to find alternative walks that were scenic and easy to get to. The Ben Nevis Inn is well worth a trip - lovely atmosphere and tasty food!

An absolutely fantastic place to stay with stunning views over Fort William and Ben Nevis range. Couldn't have asked for better hosts in Jo and JJ. Some hilarious tales from JJ and it seems at one point he was in line for a career in hair removal treatments but we were delighted that he stuck to the hospitality industry. Breakfast was excellent with the choice of various fruits or cereals before a wide range of really well cooked and presented hot options. Stick with this JJ no need for the continental sort of baguette approach!! Thoroughly recommend a stay at Treetops.

Booked this B&B after seeing Internet reviews.Did not realise it had a 4* (should have been a 5*). To see the views from 'Treetops' was truly spectacular. So near the Nevis Range-we took the gondola ride which was amazing. If you are active a visit to the Ben Nevis Range is a must. B&B also close the the town. Will be spreading the word & hope to one day come back up to Scotland.JJ & Jo very welcoming & accomadating & other B&B owners would learn alot from them! After coming up from Edinburgh where we stayed in a well known branded B&B-which was awful 'Treetops' was a wonderful find.

Hi JJ, thank you again for having us in your beautiful B&B End of April. My parents wanted me to let you know that from all the B&B's we have been in during our 2 weeks Scotland vacation yours was the best. Especially your outgoing personality made our stay a wonderful experience. Thank you for that! Stay the way you are and we hope to see you again sometime soon. All the best, Manuela, Marcello, Danny, Ute & Claus from Germany!

Treetops was a warm, welcoming place - perfect for our family! The family room was an inviting respite after outdoor play in the area - comfortable beds, incredibly clean and spacious with a nice sized en suite bathroom. Our hosts were most helpful - from providing us with a detailed list of places to eat in advance and giving us a few ideas of things to visit on our arrival, to even helping me reverse my car when i had parked a little precariously! - they were very personable and genuine in conversation; definitely aiming to please. If we had been able to stay a little longer, we could have also enjoyed the inviting living room and outdoor deck overlooking the valley below. My kids also agree that breakfast in the morning was the best they've ever had at a B&B!

Thanks for the really warm welcome, we felt like old friends, not guests as we left after 2 nights staying with you. It is also good to have the dogs in with after the days walking, to stretch out and rest before the night in the car. Best of luck in making BT understand the simple solution you want isn't the complicated issue they are making it!

A brilliant dog friendly B&B set in a lovely location with beautiful views. The owners were friendly and welcoming and happy to help with questions about the area and things to see and do. The breakfasts are amazing and fill you up for the day. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will go back.

Tips:

Ben Nevis climb is 7 plus hrs depending on fitness, we did it in 9. Check with the Nevis centre for conditions and tips. Annoch Mor cable car is a relaxed way to enjoy the views and has an international mountain bike course, skiing in the winter and high wire activity area. Take the road past the glenfinnan "bonnie prince Charlie" monument and scene of the Harry Potter train over the viaduct and take the coastal road through airsaig to morar beach to mallaig and over on the ferry to Skye. Come back past Eilean Donan castle, and back to fort William. Not to mention Loch Ness, Inverness where the battle of culloden and over to fort George. There are plenty more to see and do on visit Scotland just not enough hours in the day :-)

OUTSTANDING service! The view from our front bedroom was beautiful, the room large and friendly, the breakfast excellent, but most of all they go out of their way to provide whatever service you require. So comfortable and warm. JJ even drove us to dinner as we were tired from a long day and not good with directions! The value was one of the best in the Highlands as well. Highly recommend TreeTops!

I will highly recommend treetops. JJ (the owner)went one step further to ensure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. It was such a relief when he picked us up from the end of the West Highland Way in the pouring rain. He took our wet clothes to the drying room and made us a hot drink to warm us up. Later in the evening he even went to the trouble of running us up to the Ben Nevis Inn and looking after our dog whilst we were there. It was more than we could have expected. The following morning after a satisfying breakfast (a great breakfast) he kindly gave us a lift to the railway station in time to catch our train. Thank you JJ for all your kindness, for going that one step further and for making us feel so welcome. Oh yes, the beds were comfortable, the bedroom light and spacious with amazing views and the food at breakfast had a wide choice including fresh fruit, real porridge, salmon etc etc.....

Tips:

The Inn at the base of Ben Nevis is well worth a visit. It has a warm comfortable atmosphere and the food is amazing.

The other reviews say it all! This is an incredible house on the outskirts of Fort William, so your own transportations is necessary. Our hosts Jo & JJ could not have been more accommodating, friendly & helpful in sharing their wonderful house with us. We really enjoyed the Great Glen room which is spacious, beautifully appointed, and has a large balcony featuring incredible views of Ben Nevis. A very enjoyable breakfast and our only regret is that this was just an overnight stay on our way to Skye. Highly recommended!

Tips:

The Great Glen Room was beautiful & exceptional! If you do not need to stay in the city centre, this is a wonderful alternative & really gives the flavour of the Highlands. If you park at the far end of the parking area, beware of the stone wall when you back out ~ especially if hemmed in by other vehicles!

Great host in JJ (the husband). Has all the time in the world to chat and advise on things to do in the Fort William area. Really nice breakfast. Very warm and generous with the heating. Great views from all rooms. We liked the family room which has a king sized bed plus 2 smaller ones. Very roomy for a couple (or family of course)

Tips:

Very good B & B to ;'catch up' if travelling. By that,..I mean to wash some clothes out, sort yourself out. Good parking for guests with space for 5 cars. Not jammed in. Plenty of restaurants and JJ will advise. Top of the list must be the Ben Nevis Inn and Bunkhouse. Reservations a must!!! Very good value and fun to go to. It was a very good experience all round - JJ and Jo are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made me feel like I was part of their family. I definitely recommend Treetops as a place to stay if you're looking for accommodation in the Fort William area.

Tips:

I love walking anyway, so the location (approx. 3.5 miles outside of Fort William) was not a problem for me. Banavie station is about 10 minutes walk away, but the local bus service may be a better option depending on timing. I enjoyed a meal at The Moorings Hotel, about 10 minutes walk away in Banavie. Alternatively, Fort William is a 15-minute bus journey away. Be aware that the Scottish Highlands weather is changeable, so go out prepared for all four seasons in one day. I was there to enjoy the local snow resorts and I shall be returning to both Nevis Range and Glencoe when the weather gods decide to smile on me.

We had a wonderful weekend at Treetops, Fort William. The room we wanted was taken but we were given the Loch Linhe family room which had the most magnificent views of the Nevis range, canal and town. Our room was lovely and clean, "a real home from home" and staying at Treetops was so relaxing. JJ and Jo are wonderful hosts so welcoming and friendly and we were treated like one of the family. We had been for a walk on the Sunday and when we got back to Treetops Jo invited us to sit out on the decking to relax and enjoy the views, providing us with some binoculars! Nothing is too much trouble for them . JJ has a wealth of knowledge for the area and advised us about various things to do and eateries in the area. Thank you both for such a wonderful relaxing stay at Treetops, in such stunning surroundings. We will return soon and will surely recommend Treetops to our family and friends.

Wonderful stay, already recommended to in-laws and colleagues. Only gave 4 on location as we turned at Banavie, that is only criticism but was our fault for getting there late at night when it was dark. Breakfast was great, delicious and filling and perfect for a day on the slopes, all served on nice white Ben de Lisi crockery. Room was really comfortable with nice hot shower and windows with spectacular views (and that you can open for fresh air). Great having a cafetiere, tea and hot chocolate sachets in the room with chocolates and biscuits for apres-ski! Nice touch of drying room for kit. JJ & Jo are excellent hosts, friendly and helpful, checking out gondola times/ski conditions, having ski passes, offering us tea despite our very late arrival, filling up our water bottles with filtered water.

Ben Nevis Inn is a great place for some food. Ellis Brigham for mountain wear, near the station.

Absolutely amazing B&B with a breathtaking view of the Nevis Range. The rooms were impeccable, service was great, and location was great. Its only a few minutes drive to the mountains, and the city. With Arisaig and Mallaig around 30 miles away its situated perfectly. The couple who ran the B&B (JJ and Jo) were extremely friendly, and helpful and a pleasure to talk to - Definitely the reason we will be going back there very soon. Highly recommend.

Tips:

The Ben Nevis Gondola ride and Ski centre (obviously). The Glen Nevis and the waterfall are superb as well. Also do the Coastal Sea Road. JJ told us about it and we were not disappointed. The scenic coastal route is probably the most picturesque view we have seen yet.

A very warm welcome on arrival. John carried our suitcases to the room and made coffee for us to enjoy in the lounge. If the weather had been fine, we would have enjoyed our coffees on the large balcony! The rooms are large (we were told we had the smallest one and it had such a lot of space), beautiful views. There's tea, coffee, chocolate, cookies in abundance. A very good bed and a good choice of pillows. Clean, large bathroom with a powerful shower. Me having a travelling agency involves staying in lots of B&B's to see if they are as good as they say they are. Treetops is and John and Joe deserve all the credits for it: it's the best B&B all over the UK I have stayed in so far!!

Tips:

Ben Nevis Inn is a wonderful place to have lunch of dinner with a view. To digest your food take a walk from there. Lovely Visitor Centre down the road. The waterfall walk from there is lovely. Ardnamurchan peninsula is beautiful for a day trip. You will pass a small lovely church hidden in the woods (forgot the name) and then on your right just before a river is a small road. Take that and at the end you will find Castle Tioram, a ruin on an island. It's like a fairytale. Do the Silver Walk from there. A lot of climbing, stepping stones, mud, but awesome views

Beautiful B&B just outside Fort William. We had a lovely spacious room which was spotlessly clean and with amazing views. Thank you to JJ and Jo, who are the most friendly and fantastic hosts. We would highly recommend. :)

Tips:

Climb Ben Nevis starting from the Ben Nevis Inn. Best place to start from and you can buy a much needed beer at the end!

Very warmly welcoming, lovingly furnished rooms, nice common room and a balcony with a marvelous view. But the best is the homemade breakfast arranged from "the funny Shrek" the cook who prepares a full scottish breakfast for you. Very forward-looking is the menu ordering for breakfast where you can order what you like in the amount you want to the time you like. I brilliant idea to reduce waste, a win-win situation for both sides. B&B from Switzerland

Tips:

Just ask the landlord.

A beautiful building, built to make the most of the fantastic view and really helped to refresh us ready for our onwards travel

Tips:

I would definitely recommend Crannog's to make the most of locally caught Sea Food. I wouldal so recommend staying in a location like Treetops to be out of the immediate hustle and bustle of the main town.

Treetops is one of the best, if not the best, B&B we've stayed at. Beautiful, spacious rooms in a beautiful home in the hills with spectacular views of Ben Nevis, fabulous hosts, and a fantastic breakfast. Who could ask for more?

Tips:

We had a wonderful dinner at the Ben Nevis Inn (at JJ's suggestion). Great food and live music (a local group of folk musicians who play every Tuesday night). We walked the trail to the upper falls in Glen Nevis (the last parking lot past the visitors' centre at the end of the single-track road), which we thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.

First time at Treetops, and we weren't disappointed. From the moment of arrival we were made to feel very welcome and special. We had a lovely room with an open decked area that had fantastic views of Ben Nevis and Fort William. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom which had a spa bath and shower. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice and ample portions. We will without doubt stay here again, probably for more nights, as the location is great for exploring the surrounding areas. We stayed here for the last leg of the West Highland Way, where it was convenient for the start of the last leg and also the midpoint. Highly recommended

Tips:

Great as a base for the final stint of the West Highland Way.

JJ and Jo were so warm and welcoming, we felt like we were members of the family. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms spacious and the views outstanding. JJ's a great cook. I really enjoyed the salmon each morning and the sausages were tasty. The conversation flowed each morning during our stay.

Tips:

The Jacobite Express steam train to Mallaig is a definite must-do. The Ben Nevis Inn, a restaurant located in an old stone barn in Glen Nevis, is a clear winner. JJ arranged our reservations following our return from Mallaig. The setting is gorgeous and the food is very good. For those into sports, the local shinty team is one of the best in Scotland. The Ben Nevis distillery is worth stopping by.

From the moment we arrived till our departure JJ and Jo made us feel really welcome. My husband and I booked our stay for 2 nights on the recommendation of our cousin and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in the attic room which didn't have the fantastic views of Ben Nevis but which was a very good size and contained everything you would like for a very relaxing stay. This bedroom actually sleeps 4. It contains a double bed and a single with a pullout underneath. There was a hairdryer, a kettle and plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits to keep everyone happy. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. There was also a tv and wifi available in the room. The shower room was also a very good size and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. We filled out a form every evening choosing the time we wished to have breakfast and what we would like to order. This saved wastage and we didn't have to wait at all. There was a fabulous choice of food, cereals, yoghurts, orange juice, fresh fruit, bread, toast, jams, full english breakfast, porridge, bagals and salmon, tea and coffee, whatever you wanted and however much you wanted. The general living room was stunning. A beautiful tranquil atmosphere and such a relaxing place to chill in the evening. If the weather doesn't disappoint then sitting on the balcony is also wonderful. From there you can take in the beautiful scenery of the area. The B&B is situated just outside Fort William on the north side, on the road to Mallaig and very near to Neptune's staircase which is a lovely place to walk on a summers evening, followed by a meal at the hotel there. All in all I would give this B&B a 10* rating if I could and I enjoyed it so much that I have booked to go back with my daughter in 10 days time! Looking forward to seeing JJ and Jo again. This will be the second of many trips to come!

Tips:

Ask for a family room overlooking Ben Nevis. If this is not possible you can still sit on the balcony and enjoy the views.

Very nice building, very nicely outfitted for guests. JJ was a great host and gave great recommendations and directions for our continued travel in the Highlands. (Best to get a reservation for the ferry though, as we were literally the last car on.) Breakfast was very good too. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Tips:

JJ recommended the Ben Nevis Inn and it was great - good food at reasonable prices in an informal but special setting. Beautiful area.

The location is brilliant as it has a wonderful view over Fort William and in front of Ben Nevis. The room we stayed in was huge and so was the bathroom, which is always a nice surprise. Breakfast was the best part of our stay, hahah... as it was amazing! Every little detail was looked after and the food was delicious. The breakfast room is cozy and allowed us to interact with other guests with ease and in a friendly manner. Thank you!

Tips:

Drive a small car, it's easier for driving around the winding roads and when looking for parking space. The B&B has a big enough parking for several cars, so no issues there.

2nd June 2014:

I have been staying at B&B's throughout the UK for over 20 years now and this one is the BEST! JJ and Jo were so friendly and accomodating that my wife and I did not want to leave! Thanks a bunch for your advice on places to eat and things to do. Treetops was the highlight of our vacation, though we also stayed in places that were nearly five times more expensive, and we will be back here again. The bed was fantastic, the breakfast was perfect, and the entire house was absolutely SPOTLESS. I have never stayed anywhere this perfectly clean in my life. The view from the room is fantastic as well. Treetops is unbeatable in every category from price, location, friendliness, service, cleanliness, bed, food, and in every other way. I simply cannot say enough good things about our experience. STAY HERE!!

Tips:

Make a booking at the Ben Nevis Inn for dinner. JJ recommended this to us and it was fantastic - both in food and atmosphere. Also - try to book a tour at Castle Stalker while in the area. This is a private castle (the castle of Aarrgghh in Monty Python's Holy Grail), but they take bookings online and the tour given by the castle's owner (who is also a "French Taunter" from the movie) was excellent.

Unterm Strich: 100% empfehlenswert. Sicherlich auch beim nächsten Besuch in Fort William unsere erste Wahl!
